Reykjavík Iceland Wedding

Dreaming of a Reykjavík Iceland wedding?  In this months blog we will feature the joyful couple Victoria and Shaija.  They had their wedding right outside of Reykjavík, followed by an joyous reception in the heart of Reykjavík at Harpa, Iceland’s biggest concert hall

Victoria and Shaija first reached out to Iceland Weddings and Honeymoons on June 20th, 2021.  They wanted to have their wedding in Iceland on September 9th the prior year.   This allowed our team plenty of time to dialogue with the couple, helping them plan and  to make their dream wedding come true.

Wedding Ceremony

The couple wanted to have their dream wedding in Iceland while enjoying their day with their closest friends and family.  They choose a wedding ceremony location not to far away from Reykjavik.   Allowing them and their guests to enjoy a short drive touring near by locations on their wedding day.

Victoria and Shaija decided to have their wedding ceremony at the foot of the waterfall, this allowed them and their guests to hear the entire ceremony.  Having a ceremony close to a waterfall can sometimes require you to rent a sound system so that every moment can be heard.  The decided to recite their own personal vows, sharing their thoughts and feelings with their guests.

After the wedding ceremony the couple and their guests were free to explore the area as well as being able to get closer to the gorgeous waterfall.

After the wedding ceremony, the couple and their guests got back on the bus where they enjoyed their packed lunches provided by a near by bakery.   They ventured on their way to another near by location to explore a black sand beach!
